Georgepeta is the major panchayath village in Thallarevu mandal in East Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh.
Georgepeta the name proposed by a British Emperor George. He named this village as George Peta. Later the Youth in this village recalled as George Town.
Lord Sri Venu Gopala Swamy temple and Sri Kalyana Sita Rama alayam were famous here. Mukkoti Ekadasi and nelapalli amma thertham famous too with annual celebrations. First ever Lord Srirama Idols from Bhadrachalam came here and The Kalyanam and Pattibishekam Mahotsavam done here by the people.
