Giles Gherson

Giles Gherson is Deputy Minister and Associate Secretary of the Cabinet, Policy and Delivery, in the Cabinet Office for the Ontario government. Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty announced Mr. Gherson's appointment, effective April 2, 2007, on March 8, 2007. Mr. Gherson was formerly editor-in-chief of the Toronto Star, one of Canada's major newspapers. Previously, he was business editor of The Globe and Mail and editor-in-chief of The Edmonton Journal.
