GoldenPass Line
The GoldenPass Line is a tourist-orientated train route in the Swiss Alps which connects Montreux to Lucerne. Though marketed as a through service, it involves three separate trains served by three companies with panoramic trains:
- Montreux–Oberland Bernois railway: From Montreux to Zweisimmen via Gstaad (metre gauge)
- BLS: From Zweisimmen via Spiez to Interlaken (standard gauge)
- Brünig railway line (operated by the Zentralbahn): From Interlaken to Lucerne via the Brünig Pass (metre gauge)
The MOB announced through commercial service with variable gauge passenger coaches for 2015.[1]
