Good.Co is a networking and career-building platform for job seekers and professionals. Good.Co's Proprietary Psychometric Algorithm (PPA), uses career psychometrics and psychological analysis to help people assess suitability for current and potential employers or roles, claiming to assist employers in hiring the right people for their business and to help individuals in determining their professional strengths and weaknesses through a series of personality quizzes.[1][2]
The company is based in San Francisco, California.[3][4]
History
Good.Co (originally ManageUp) was founded in 2012 by CEO Samar Birwadker and CTO Subbu Balakrishnan in partnership with Chief Psychometrician Dr. Kerry Schofield.[5] In January 2013, Good.Co participated in TechStars’ three month accelerator program and went on to launch on 18 April 2013.[6]
The site's beta launch was in 2013.[7] Over 4,000 company profiles have been created based on user responses about companies’ culture.[8]
The company received $1.45 million investment in 2014 from Sparklabs.[9]
On 10 July 2014, Good.Co announced the launch of their first mobile app, available for iOS.[10]
Good.Co claims to let users gauge their level of compatibility with people and companies.[11][12]
In 2016, Good.Co was acquired by StepStone.[13]
