Gopal Gurung (Nepali: गोपाल गुरुङ) (June 27, 1935 – June 10, 2016) was a Nepali journalist, author, politician, and futurist of global politics. Mr Gurung inspired the Indigenous Mongol People of Nepal to fight against the racial discrimination of Brahmins and Kshetris (Indo-Aryans).[1] He is the founder president of Mongol National Organisation (MNO) and the first pioneer of republican Nepal.[2] MNO was established by Dr Gopal Gurung on January 1, 1989 when he was in Bhadragol prison. He wrote the book i.e. Hidden Facts In Nepalese Politics, that's why he had gone prison on August 30, 1988.[3]
