Gordon Bell High School is a public junior and senior high school in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
History
The school was founded in 1926 and is named after Dr. Gordon Bell, a physician and educator.[1]
Facilities
- There is a child-care centre on campus, intended for use by students with children. Students who place children in child care are required to attend parenting classes and spend their lunch hours in the centre.
- The library includes books, filmstrips, videos and a computer mini-lab.
- The school cafeteria features a limited menu, offers free breakfasts and food for purchase at lunchtime.
- There are a number of science labs and language labs on campus.
- There are two gymnasiums, one art room, a music room and an auditorium that is used as a storage, drama, and dance room.
