Government High School Thari MirWah
Government High School Thari Mir Wah was established as a High School in Thari Mirwah on 15 September 1951 in erstwhile State of Khairpur before its annexation into Pakistan in 1955. School architecture is designed on English letter 'E' shaped; the Piryalo High School was also designed on E shape.. The school is renamed as 'Government Boys Model High School' and it’s a public sector secondary educational institution imparting educational facilities to the Thari city,Nandhi Thari, Hindyari and vicinities .The land for the construction of school including other governmental offices & buildings such as Rural Health Centre Thari, was provided by Raes Pirano Jogi (a noble man of Jogi caste).School building contract was given to Seth WaliBhai – a Kathiawari Memon.
Besides the construction of school building a very big boarding hostel and staff colony was also established. The School area spread over 28 acres of land with a play ground, a government Girls High School constructed in 1988.The whole land of 28 acres was donated by Late Rais Perano Jogi.
Mr Prof: Mukhtiar Hussain Shar is currently serving as Headmaster. He has provided incredible services to the institution, he has embarked on his journey to serve the institution since 2005. He has revolutionize the education system and infrastructural mechanism according to modern needs.
Educational structure
Educational structure consists from class one of Primary to tenth class Matric. The Government Boys Model High School Thari is English as well as Sindhi medium School.[1] New additional building was constructed,renovated during 2007.[2]
