Govind Singh Kunjwal is an Indian National Congress leader and member of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly in India. He was elected from Jageshwar (Vidhan Sabha constituency) in the Uttarakhand state assembly elections, 2002. He is current speaker of Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly.
He was heavily criticize for his role in Uttarakhand political trouble in 2016 where 9 MLAs from Indian National Congress change their loyalty towards Bharatiya Janata Party.[1][2][3][4][5]
