Occupation Talkback radio host

Graeme Gilbert (born 15 April 1950) is the host of nightly radio program Talk Tonight with Graeme Gilbert on Sydney radio station 2SM and the Super Radio Network. He has hosted the show for over a decade and has interviewed numerous people including John Howard, the former Prime Minister of Australia.[1] Graeme has received multiple awards for his broadcasting.[2]

2SM proclaim him as the "Undisputed King of Radio", however, considering his poor ratings, this is quite fanciful.

In 2002 Talk Tonight scored a rating of 0.01% in Sydney, the lowest rating ever recorded for a commercial program in a metro market in Sydney.
2SM subsequently withdrew from the Sydney radio ratings.

On 15 May 2006 his program was barraged by calls by members of the public, correctly stating that the answer to his trivia question, "Who is the Premier of Tasmania?", was "India" (The incorrect answer being 'Paul Lennon'). The story was picked up by ABC Television's Media Watch program.[3]
