Gravity Guy is a 2010 side-scrolling endless runner/action/arcade video game developed and published by Miniclip. It was released on the App Store on December 8, 2010. This game supports iOS, Android, Flash, Windows Phone, Symbian OS, Series 40, Mac OS X and Windows 8. The game was updated in July 15, 2013 for the iOS on the App Store to support iPhone 5. For BlackBerry 10, the paid Android version of the game can be downloaded via Amazon Appstore.
Gameplay
Gravity Guy is an arcade and a side-scrolling game in which the player controls Gravity Guy by tapping the screen (or clicking or pressing the space bar on the computer versions) to switch gravity. The objective in this game is to run as far as possible while avoiding obstacles than can trap him (and also be killed by a police officer), falling or flying off the screen. If killed, the player gets sent back to the last checkpoint taken. There are three types of gaming modes in the game: Story Mode, Endless, and Practice. Story mode features up to sixty levels for both "Run" and "Rescue", thirty for each part of the story, with up to fifteen levels in the original Flash game.[3] Endless consists of running through randomly generated levels, while Practice mode goes through the levels from the story without having the police officer chasing you. The game also contains multiplayer mode, allowing up to four players (using Game Center on iOS or locally) to play the game as well.[4]
Free version
The free version of Gravity Guy in iOS and Android released in 2011. The features in the free version of Gravity Guy iOS game app are only 10 levels, 1 theme, 2 slowmotions and 2 shields. In the free version of Gravity Guy Android app is like the full version but still with 2 slowmotions, 2 shields and Ads (to unlock Ads user must be buy the full version). Gravity Guy full version went free for the limited time for the iOS on the App Store in May 2013 prior to release of the sequel called Gravity Guy 2. The free version of the game was updated in July 15, 2013 for the iOS on the App Store to support iPhone 5.
Sequel
The sequel of Gravity Guy, called Gravity Guy 2, with a more human character, released in March 2013 for Xbox Live on Windows Phone. It was released for iOS in May 15, 2013 and Android in October 2, 2013.
