Greater Church of Lucifer
The Greater Church of Lucifer is a small Luciferian church in Old Town Spring, Texas.
About Greater Church of Lucifer
In 2013 Jacob No founded a worldwide organisation for Luciferians from Houston, Texas known as the Greater Church of Lucifer under the leadership of Jacob No the sole founder, Michael W. Ford and Jeremy Crow, founder of the Luciferian Research Society came later as a result of Jacob needing help. In January 2015 the leadership of GCoL filed paperwork in the Austin County Courthouse in order to do business under the GCoL name. Jacob No describes GCoL as an organization that "follows a philosophy and is a non-dogmatic religion".[1] The GCoL focuses more on teachings based on the practical world. Family and personal progression are among its key tenets.
Jacob spear-headed the modern public Luciferian movement worldwide by the opening of 35 parishes within North America, Central America, South America and Europe. See only media: [2] [3]
In 2015, the GCoL opened a parish in Old Town Spring, Texas, with several dozen members. Over a hundred local residents, mainly Catholic, protested the opening of the church.[4]
Formation
In 2013 founder Jacob No, real name Jacob McKlevy[5] held the first GCoL meeting in his garage with a small group of people in the Spring Texas area. They studied a small bit of the works of Micheal W. Ford but in most part taught Gnostic philosophy, core Luciferian doctrine based on the works of a few writers and resources, traditional witchcraft, Hermetics and Druidism rites.
Jacob No expanded the core group with many alliances within the Houston area sub-culture and within the United States.
Jeremy Crow joined forces with Jacob No after talks of his plans and ambitions for the future. Jacob No wanted to create a home for all those who were too afraid to be open with who they were because of persecution and to help end the dogmatic slavery of modern faith-based religions. Jacob No sole goal was to destroy religion by the interrogation of Luciferian philosophy into the general public and deprogramming the herd mind of religious doctrine that he believed at that time was the root of all evil in the world.
By the end of 2013 Jacob No had created branches that were forming in Latin America, Canada and the United States.
Jacob No asked Jeremy Crow to talk to Michael W. Ford to set up a meeting to become a part of the GCoL at the Left Hand Path Conference in 2014. Late 2014 Micheal W. Ford joined the GCoL.
In 2015 Jeremy Crow, Hopemarie, and Micheal W. Ford were asked to become co-presidents of the GCoL to help Jacob No form a better organisation with proper structure.[6]
