Guildford bus station serves the town of Guildford, Surrey, England. The bus station also known as the Friary bus station and is close to the town's Westfield Friary Shopping Centre.
Guildford is served by many bus routes from Woking, Aldershot, Godalming and other local places in Surrey. The main bus station, which is the terminus for all routes heading into Guildford, is on Commercial Road (off North Street). It has 22 stands.[1]
The bus station has been criticised for not being very pleasant. Guildford Borough Council and Surrey County Council has invested money in the improvement of the bus station.[2]
There was a free shuttle bus service from the bus station to Guildford railway station, the Guildford Shuttle. This service was withdrawn in May 2010.[3][4]
