Gujrat Tehsil is a subdivision (tehsil) of Gujrat District in the Punjab province of Pakistan. The tehsil is administratively subdivided into 65 Union Councils.
Tehsil Gujrat is home to such notables as Chaudhry Zahoor Elahi, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, Chaudhry Shafaat Hussain and Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi.[1]
