HTEC UAV
HTEC UAVs are Chinese UAVs developed by Guangzhou Hong-Tian (meaning Rainbow Sky) Aviation Science and Technology Co., Ltd. (HTEC, 广州虹天航空科技有限公司). Initial UAVs fielded by HTEC utilizes commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) subsystems, such as airframe, and eventually, these are replaced by domestic Chinese counterparts indigenously developed by HTEC. Several HTEC UAVs have entered service with local law enforcement and Chinese governmental establishments.
HTEC-AD
HTEC-AD is a fixed wing UAV in conventional layout with high wing configuration. Propulsion is provided by a propeller driven pusher engine mounted at the empennage. HTEC-AD is mainly intended for aerial survey missions.[1][2] Specification:[3]
- Wingspan (m): 3
- Take-off weight (kg): 15
- Launch: Catapult or taxiing
- Recovery: Parchute or taxiing
- Speed (km/hr): 60 – 120
- Endurance (hr): > 4
- Ceiling (km): 5
HTEC-AF
HTEC-AS is a fixed wing UAV in conventional layout with mid wing configuration with V-tail and tricycle landing gear. Propulsion is provided by a three-blade propeller driven pusher engine mounted behind the wing, which is elevated from the fuselage.[2][4] Specification:[5]
- Wingspan (m): 4
- Take-off weight (kg): 45
- Launch: taxiing or catapult
- Recovery: taxiing or parachute
- Speed (km/hr): 60 – 180
- Endurance (hr): > 1.5
- Ceiling (km): 6
HTEC-AS
HTEC-AS is a fixed wing UAV in conventional layout with high wing configuration. HTEC-AS is a micro air vehicle (MAV) designed to be operated by a single person, and it can be deployed within five minutes (from storage to airborne).[2][6] Specification:[7]
- Wingspan (m): 1.68
- Length (m): 1
- Take-off weight (kg): 2.8
- Launch: by hand
- Recovery: glide
- Speed (km/hr): 45 – 60
HTEC-HE
HTEC-HE is an electrically powered unmanned helicopter developed by HTEC utilizing COTS airframe in conventional helicopter layout with a pair of skids as landing gear.[8][9] Specification:[10]
- Fuselage length (m): 2
- Weight (kg): 15
- Take-off and landing: manually or automatic
- Payload (kg): 10
- Hovering accuracy (m): 1 – 3
- Cruise speed (km/hr): 10
- Max speed (km/hr): 60
- Endurance (hr): 0.5
- Propulsion: batteries
HTEC-HH
HTEC-HH an unmanned helicopter in conventional helicopter layout with a pair of skids as landing gear. HETC-HH is the largest unmanned helicopter marketed by HTEC (as of 2014).[8][11] Specification:[12]

- Endurance (hr): 1.5
- Ceiling (km): 2.5
- Propulsion: gasoline
HTEC-TB110
HTEC-TB110 is a gasoline powered unmanned helicopter developed by HTEC utilizing German 110 cc engine. HTEC-TB110 is designed to outperform popular unmanned helicopter AF25B by having lower take-off weight while with higher payload. HTEC-TB-110 entered series production in September, 2011. Specification:[15]
- Endurance (hr): 4
- Engine: 110 cc gasoline engine
HTEC Quadcopter
HTEC Quadcopter is a quadrotor developed by HTEC that can be folded for ease of transportation. Development begun in July 2012 and was completed in October 2012. The quadcopter is designed to operate in temperature as low as – 25 °C. HTEC quadcopter is unique in that in comparison to most quadrotors, it has ducted rotors, a feature most multirotors lack.[16]
