Hakob Manandyan (Armenian: Հակոբ Համազասպի Մանանդյան; November 10, 1873, Akhaltsikhe - February 4, 1952) was an Armenian historian, philologist, and member of the Academy of Sciences of Armenia (1943) and the Academy of Sciences of the USSR (1939).[1]

One of the most important works by Manandyan was "Critical Survey of the History of the Armenian People" (vols. 1-3, 1945–57). He was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labour.[2]
