Halhal is a village in western-central Yemen. It is located in the San‘a’ Governorate. During the North Yemen Civil War, Halhal supported the Royalists and the former monarch, the Imam Muhammad al-Badr. On December 27, 1966, troops from Egypt, supporting the Yemen Arab Republic, used chemical warfare against the inhabitants [1]
