Hanafy Bastan (Arabic: حنفي بسطان) (born 6 December 1923 – 13 November 1995)[1] is an Egyptian former footballer who played as a defender for Zamalek. He also played for the Egyptian national team, and represented his country in the 1948 and 1952 Summer Olympics,[2] and was part of the team that won the 1957 African Cup of Nations.

He appeared at the movie Talk of the City (Hadeeth Al-Madina Arabic: حديث المدينة) in 1964, and Goodbye forever (Wada'n Ela Al-Abad Arabic: وداعاً إلى الأبد) in 1976.[3]
