Higashi-Obama Station (東小浜駅 Higashi-Obama Eki) is a railway station located in the city of Obama, Fukui Prefecture, Japan.[1]
History
- 14 August 1953: Higashi-Obama Station opened
- 1 April 1972: Higashi-Obama Station becomes unmanned and operated as an independent contract station
- 1 April 1987: Japanese National Railways is privatized, and Higashi-Obama Station becomes a JR West station
