Hippolytushoef is a town in the Dutch province of North Holland. It was the main town of the former municipality of Wieringen, and lies about 14 km east of Den Helder. Since 2012 Hippolytushoef is a part of the new municipality of Hollands Kroon.
In 2001, the town of Hippolytushoef had 4217 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.95 km², and contained 1842 residences.[1] The wider statistical area of Hippolytushoef has a population of around 4610.[2]
