Hotel Institute Montreux (HIM), founded in 1984,^[2] is a private hotel school located in Montreux, Switzerland that provides a university level education for students wanting to gain an education in the hospitality industry.^[3]

Overview

HIM is owned by the Swiss Education Group (SEG),^[4][5] and is a member of the Swiss Hotel Schools Association Swiss Hotel Schools Association (ASEH) since 1992.^[6][7]

HIM offers a broad scope of academic programs through its two campuses in the city center of Montreux. The campuses are renovated from former hotels. The classes cover all aspects of hotel management.. The school is known for its generation of top Swiss hoteliers for over 25 years and many of its alumni are found at the largest hotel chains in the world.

Over 70% of Hotel Institute Montreux's graduates are working in management positions within 2 years following their graduation.
