Howmeh District
The Howmeh District of Azarshahr County (Persian: بخش حومه شهرستان آذرشهر, meaning "suburbs") is a district (bakhsh) that functions as the central district in Azarshahr County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 64,796, in 17,125 families.[1] The District has one city: Azarshahr. The District has four rural districts (dehestan): Qazi Jahan Rural District, Qebleh Daghi Rural District, Shiramin Rural District, and Yengejeh Rural District.
