Human Relations & Aging Committee (Georgia House)
The House Human Relations & Aging Committee is a 14 member legislative body consisting of a chairman, a vice-chairman, a secretary, and 11 members. The Committee operates under a House mandate to evaluate legislation affecting "the care and needs of Georgia’s aging population".[1]
Scope and jurisdiction
The House Human Relations & Aging Committee is responsible for all legislation that affects quality and availability of the care and specialized needs of the Georgia's elderly citizens and the state's aging population.[1]
