Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre. is located in Girgaon, Mumbai, India. Reliance Foundation joined the management of Sir Harkisandas Narottamdas Hospital with the commitment to restore the hospital to its erstwhile glory by re-structuring the hospital services and setting up modern technology in the field of healthcare.

H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital offers tertiary level healthcare facilities that include cardiology, cardio-thoracic surgery, neurology and neuro-surgery, oncology, urology, nephrology, paediatric and neonatal surgery, gastroenterology, micro-ear surgery, retinal surgery and other services. Over 258 consultants in various areas of specialization drive and manage the activities. They are assisted by a staff of 1,000, including paramedical and other support. The centre also provides free and subsidised out-patient and in-patient treatment to the needy.

Renovation and addition

In March 2012 the hospital closed for renovations.[1] The 1925-built 7-floor building was renovated by California-based firm, TTG Corporation[2] A 22-story building behind the 1925 building was also renovated and jointly designed by a team of leading Architecture firm from USA and Mumbai.

Both buildings were re-opened on 25 October 2014 by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi.[3]

The Tower is a newly constructed building, housing Emergency Medical Services, the Out-Patient Department, In-Patient Services, Diagnostics, Operation Theatre Complex, Executive Health Check, and separate floors for Day Care, Woman & Child Health. It is proposed to have an entire floor for free and subsidised in-patient beds. Located across two floors, the Intensive Critical Care Unit (ICU) has beds configured to the single-room concept. There are Isolation Rooms on each floor.
