Husayn Muruwwa

Husayn Muruwwa (also spelled Hussein Mroue or Mroueh) (1910-1987) was a Lebanese journalist and literary critic. His Materialist Trends in Arabic-Islamic Philosophy (2 vols., 1979) was a Marxist re-reading of traditional Arab texts.^[1]
