Hyen Church (Norwegian: Hyen kyrkje) is a parish church in Gloppen Municipality in Sogn og Fjordane county, Norway. It is located in the village of Straume, near the shore of the Hyefjorden. The church is part of the Hyen parish in the Nordfjord deanery in the Diocese of Bjørgvin. The white, wooden church was built in 1876 by the architect Karl Uchermann. The church seats about 300 people. It was consecrated on 14 June 1876. There has been a church in this area for centuries. The first church was probably a stave church dating back to the 13th century. The church site was later moved closer to the fjord, where it is now located.[1][2][3]
