I Was Bitten is a television program which airs on the Animal Planet[1] in the US and the Discovery Channel in the UK.
Format
The show tells stories of people who were previously bitten by deadly animals. Viewers discover the science behind the bites and see the devastating effects of venom on the human body. This program is quite graphic and may not be suitable for children under the age of 14. The cases are treated by venom expert Sean Bush. Some episodes feature bites from other animals such as elephants, tigers, bears, lions and snakes.
