Ibb University, (Arabic=جامعة إب) was established in Ibb as an official University in 1996. It was founded by Nasser al-Awlaki.[1]
The university consists of 8 colleges as follows.

- Faculty of Arts
- Faculty of Sciences
- Faculty of Dentists
