Reichswald
A Reichswald or imperial forest was a historic woodland under imperial protection and usage in the Holy Roman Empire. Notable Reichswälder include:
- Nuremberg Reichswald — an old cultivated forest with 25,000 hectares (62,000 acres) near Nuremberg, which is today a nature reserve.
- Klever Reichswald — a forest of 5,100 hectares (13,000 acres) near Kleve, where the World War II battle Operation Veritable took place.
