Biography
Indian Handcrafts began in 2010, and by 2011 had created a self-titled self-released album.[1] They subsequently went on tour, at which point they were noticed by Cathy Pellow, who soon after signed them to her management and record label, Sargent House.[2] They then went back into the studio with producer Toshi Kasai to create their second album, Civil Disobedience for Losers.[3] Following the release of the album, the band went back out on tour. This included a stint opening for Billy Talent and Red Fang. In August 2013, Indian Handcrafts performed at the Heavy Montreal music festival.[4] In September 2014, Indian Handcrafts toured with Deafheaven.
Kicking off in September 2015 at Riot Fest in Denver, Chicago, and Toronto, the band embarked on a North American Tour which later added bands, Kylesa, Inter Arma, and Irata as support. The duo band's sophomore album, Creeps, was released on October 2, 2015.[5]
