Irit Ziffer

Dr. Irit Margit Ziffer (born 1954 in Tel Aviv, Israel), archaeologist and art historian, is the current curator of the Ceramics and Copper (Hebrew: Nehushtán) pavilions of the Eretz Israel Museum in Tel Aviv.[1][2]

Her main speciality is symbols and their meanings in ancient art, especially the way they were used by political powers.
