Isaías Duarte Cancino

Isaías Duarte Cancino (1939–2002) was a Colombian priest and Archbishop of the Roman Catholic Church. He was assassinated (one of many assassinations of Catholic priests and bishops in Latin America in the last few decades) by the FARC for speaking out about their atrocities, at a time when the conflict was gradually lessening.[1]
