Ishan Morris, also known by his stage name iSH, is a Canadian actor and hip hop / pop / R&B recording artist / singer. In his acting roles he is also credited at times as Ish Morris. He is based in Toronto and has lived in the Cayman Islands, Jamaica and New York City.

Early life

Morris was born to a Jamaican father and Canadian/Irish mother. He spent his early years travelling, splitting most of his time between Canada and Jamaica. He later moved to the Cayman Islands and then after high school moved to New York City to attend the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts. His grandfather was a well known calypso singer in Jamaica.

Acting career

After graduation, he launched an acting career where he started appearing in commercials, films, and TV shows. He starred in the television series "Soul" alongside Keshia Chante. He also landed a recurring role in The Family Channel's series "Baxter" and had a role in Saw 3D, the last film of the Saw horror franchise.

Musical career

His first single "Falling in Love With You" broke the top 40 position on Canadian radio and mediabase charts. He has released the mixtape The Name is iSH accompanied by his single "Priceless" off his debut album The First Impression on Northern Heights Records. A music video was also released for "Priceless",[1] directed by Grandson and Son and shot in the Cayman Islands.

He has had worked with artists including Cory Lee, Robyn, and La Roux. In 2013, he released the single "Rollin'" featuring Stef Lang. After that success, he was featured in Cody Simpsons hit "Pretty Brown Eyes". In 2014 "Light Up" featuring Daniel Richter the lead singer of Eleven Past One. the single is included in iSH's EP Up & Up on Warner Music Canada. He is also featured on Faber Drive's single "Candy Store".
