Ivan Jurisic is a former Serbian footballer who played the majority of his career in North American soccer leagues.

Playing career

Jurisic began his professional career in the American Professional Soccer League in 1993 with Toronto Blizzard, appearing in three matches.[1] In 1995, he signed with the Hamilton White Eagles of the Canadian National Soccer League. He made his debut for the club on May 29, 1995 in a match against Toronto Italia.[2] In 1997, he was signed by newly expansion franchise the Toronto Lynx of the USL A-League.[3] The following season Jurisic signed with the North York Astros of the newly formed Canadian Professional Soccer League. He made his debut for the team on June 24, 1998 in a match against Toronto Croatia.[4] He helped North York secure a postseason berth by finishing fourth in the overall standings. In 2001, he signed with newly franchise Brampton Hitmen.[5] During his term with Brampton he greatest achievement with the club was in 2003, where he won the CPSL Championship after defeating Vaughan Sun Devils in the playoff finals by a score of 1-0.
