Ivan Sekyra (1 October 1952, Prague, Czechoslovakia − 30 June 2012, Prague, Czech Republic) was a Czech rock guitarist, singer, songwriter, director and screenwriter. In childhood he learned to play the violin.[1] In 1978 he graduated from the Faculty of Mechanization Agriculture University in Prague.[2] In 1976 he co-founded group called Abraxas.[3] Later he was member of Projektil and Drakar. In 20054 he founded heavy metal band called Silent Garden.[4] He was also the composer of the hit song "Zahrada ticha".[5]
