Izumo Taishakyo

Izumo-taishakyo (出雲大社教 Izumo taishakyō, in Japanese Izumo Ooyashirokyō[1]) is a Japanese Shintoist grouping. It was founded by Senge Takatomi (1845–1918).[2] It stands between Sect Shinto and Shrine Shinto, which is the case for Shinto-taikyo as well.[3] It was founded in Shimane Prefecture in 1882.[4]
