JJ Wilson
JJ Wilson, eldest son of Chip Wilson,[1] is a young Canadian businessman and a philanthropist. The Wilson family is best known for founding yoga apparel company, Lululemon Athletica Inc. (TSX: LLL, NASDAQ: LULU). Recently, he and his stepmother, Shannon Wilson, co-founded a new apparel company called Kit and Ace.[2]
JJ has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Toronto's Ryerson University and upon completing his education, he worked as a trend forecaster for Canadian luxury retailer, Holt Renfrew.[3] Shortly after, he moved to New York to work for the Clinton Foundation before joining the private equity firm Advent International in Boston.[4] Upon his return home to Vancouver, Wilson joined the Canadian contemporary menswear brand Wings+Horns to launch their ecommerce and establish the brand internationally.[5]
