James Purdum (born April 16, 1971) is an American animation director. Purdum directed several episodes of the animated series Family Guy. He has also served as a director, animation timer and character layout artist for Futurama and The Simpsons.^[2]

Purdum joined Family Guy in 2005, and has since directed multiple episodes, including:
