Jan Mulder (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈjɑn ˈmɵldər]) is a Dutch-born pianist,[1] composer and conductor, who lives in Orlando, Florida. He performs in the United States and in Western and Central Europe. Since immigrating to the United States on July 7, 2007, he focuses on large concerts whereby he performs on the piano and conducts an orchestra simultaneously.

Biography

Mulder was born in Rotterdam, he studied piano, organ and composition at the Rotterdam and Utrecht conservatories.[2] Since graduating in 1992, Jan Mulder composes music for his solo albums and concerts. His piano albums, recorded with symphony orchestras in London and Moscow, have been played on Classic FM and other stations.

In 2012, Jan Mulder hosted the 37th ICVM International Crown Awards Ceremony in Orlando, Florida.[3] In 2013, he recorded his second album with the London Symphony Orchestra Love Divine, which reached platinum status 10 weeks from its release date.[4] That same album was nominated for the 2014 GMA Dove Awards: Best Instrumental Album of the Year.[5] His 2014 album with the London Symphony Orchestra, named "Christmas", featured Andrea Bocelli singing A choir of a thousand angels. In 2016, the latest album entitled Love Divine III was released, featuring the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
