Jargaltulgyn Erdenebat (Mongolian: Жаргалтулгын Эрдэнэбат) is a Mongolian politician and a member of the Mongolian People's Party. He is the Prime Minister of Mongolia as of 7 July 2016.[1][2]
Biography
Erdenebat was born on 17 June 1973 in Mandal sum, Selenge Province. He graduated from the Institute of Trade and Industry (later merged with the National University of Mongolia in 1995.
In 2008, Erdenebart was appointed Governor of Selenge Province, a position he held until 2012. He won a seat during the 2012 parliamentary election, and served as Minister of Finance from 2014 to 2015 as part of the coalition government. He has been Prime Minister since 2016, as the Mongolian People's Party swept the 2016 parliamentary election.
