Jay Neal
James W. "Jay" Neal is a Republican former member of the Georgia House of Representatives. He represented the 2nd House District from 2005 through 2013.[1][2]
Neal was born in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. From 1989 until 2009 he was pastor of Gordon Lake Wesleyan Church. Neal was first elected to the legislature in November 2004.
He resigned from the House in November 2013 to accept an appointment by Georgia governor Nathan Deal to be executive director of the state's Office of Transition.[1]
