Jeremiah F. Sullivan

Jeremiah F. Sullivan (August 19, 1851 - January 23, 1927) was an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of California from November 1926 to January 1927.[1]

Born in Connecticut, Sullivan graduated from St. Ignatius College in San Francisco in 1870, and read law with the law office of Winans & Belknap to enter the bar on January 13, 1874. In September, 1879 he was elected as a judge of the Superior Court.[1]

Sullivan's brother, Matt I. Sullivan, had previously served as Chief Justice of California, the only instance where siblings have served on that court.[2]
