John 'Jack' Richardson (11 November 1911 – 1986) was a Scottish professional footballer who played for Motherwell, Northfleet United, Tottenham Hotspur, Reading, Bournemouth Athletic and Folkestone.[1]
Football career
Richardson began his career at his home town club of Motherwell. He joined the Tottenham Hotspur "nursery" club Northfleet United [2] before signing for Tottenham in 1927. The full back made a total of 41 appearances in all competitions for the Spurs between 1927–29.[3] Richardson joined Reading in 1929 where he featured in 133 matches in total.[4] He later played for Bournemouth and finally ending his career at Folkestone.
