Ellis University is a for-profit college, based in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois. The university offers undergraduate degrees in child development, interdisciplinary studies, accounting, business administration, and computer science, and graduate degrees in communications, business administration, and computer science.[3][4]
History
Ellis University was founded in 2008 in Chicago.[5][6][7]
It was bought in 2012 and changed its name to John Hancock University, but in 2015, it changed its name back to Ellis University.[5]
Accreditation
Ellis is accredited by the Distance Education Accreditation Commission (DEAC),[8][9] and authorized to operate and grant degrees by the Illinois Board of Higher Education.[10]
