John "Johnny" Rae is a professional rugby league footballer of the 1960s, playing at representative level for Great Britain, and at club level for Bradford Northern, as a Loose forward/Lock, i.e. number 13, during the era of contested scrums.

International honours
Johnny Rae won a cap for Great Britain while at Bradford Northern in 1965 against New Zealand.[1]
County Cup final appearances
Johnny Rae played Loose forward/Lock in Bradford Northern's 17-8 victory over Hunslet in the 1965 Yorkshire Cup final during the 1965–66 season at Headingley Stadium, Leeds on Saturday 16 October 1965.
