Jurij Gladyr (Ukrainian: Юрій Гладир) (born 8 July 1984) is a Ukrainian volleyball player of Polish citizenship (since January 14, 2013),[1][2] a member of Ukraine men's national volleyball team in 2007–2011 and Polish club PGE Skra Bełchatów, Ukrainian Champion (2005, 2006, 2008), 2016 Polish Champion.
Career
Clubs
After winning three titles of Ukrainian Champion, he came to PlusLiga. He played one season 2008/09 in AZS Politechnika Warszawska and his team took 8th place.[3] Then he moved to ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle. In season 2010/11 he achieved first silver medal of Polish Championship. On March 12, 2011 ZAKSA, includin Gladyr, achieved silver of CEV Cup.[4] In season 2011/12 he gained bronze after winning matches with Jastrzębski Węgiel. On January 27, 2013 he won Polish Cup.[5] In season 2012/13 Gladyr achieved his second silver medal of Polish Championship, in the finale his team lost with Asseco Resovia Rzeszów.[6] On March 16, 2014 he won Polish Cup with ZAKSA.[7] In 2015 he extended contract.[8] In 2016 he left ZAKSA and in September went to PGE Skra Bełchatów.[9]
