All of K-368 is in eastern Osage County.[1] The short, two-lane road is not part of the National Highway System.[2] K-368 starts at the intersection of K-268 and South Paulen Road, and travels north. The route heads uphill in a straight line, through farmland and a few trees. K-368 crosses Flint Hills nature trail, which leads to Vassar. Later, the road ends at intersection of East 229th Street and the entrance of Pomona State Park, after passing by a few driveways.[1][3][4] About 90 vehicles travel on the road daily on average.[1]
History
In 1963, Pomona State Park was created, after a dam was made to control watershed, forming a lake.[3] Two years later, K-368 was designated, at the same time as K-268.[5][6] The route was paved around the same time it was designated,[6] and no significant changes have been made to the route ever since.[7]
Major intersections
The entire route is in Osage County.
