Kapel-Avezaath is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of Tiel, and lies about 3 km west of Tiel.
In 2001, the village of Kapel-Avezaath had 301 inhabitants. The built-up area of the village was 0.098 km², and contained 118 residences.[1] The statistical area "Kapel-Avezaath", which also can include the peripheral parts of the village, as well as the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 470.[2]
A few houses in the municipality of Buren are also part of Kapel-Avezaath; they are not counted in the statistics above.
