Statue of Brother Walfrid at Celtic Park
Kate Robinson is a British sculptor.[1][2]
Born in Warwickshire, Robinson obtained a 1st class BA (Hons) in Fine Art at Glasgow School of Art in 1989, completing her Phd at University of Glasgow in 2002. Amongst her awards are the Guardian/Modern Painters prize for Writing on Art in 2004.[2] Her commissions include statues of Jimmy Johnstone[3] and the founder of Celtic football club, Brother Walfrid at Celtic Park, Glasgow.[4]
In 2011 her sculpture, Woman Man Sun Moon was unveiled next to the M8 motorway in South Lanarkshire.[1]
