Kemps Corner is an upmarket neighbourhood in South Mumbai. It is flanked by the Altamount Road on one side and the Malabar Hill on the other. It lies at the crossroads of Breach Candy, Warden Road, Peddar Road and Nepean Sea Road.
The place has several upmarket residential establishments as well as high end shopping outlets. It is home to some iconic buildings, such as Grand Paradi, home to Jimit Boda and also to the city's first flyover, the Kemps Corner flyover. Work on the flyover started in April 1964 and was opened to motorists on April 14, 1965. The flyover was the favourite shooting spot of several Bollywood filmmakers.[2]
Property prices here begin from 10 crores and get reach up to 120 crores. Flats in Grand Paradi begin at 15 crores with row houses sold for 95 crores.
