Baan Sinlapin
Baan Sinlapin, The Artist's House, is located at 315 Wat Tong Salangam, Phet Kasem 28, Thanon Phet Kasem, Phasi Charoen, Bangkok, Thailand.[1] It was built more than 200 years ago. Baan Sinlapin once was the house of the Raksamruat family and the last heir of this family sold this house to Mr. Chompol Arkkapantanon[2][3] to renovate to be an art gallery.[4]
Overview
The building is made from wood in an L shape and has 2 floors. The top of building is open and the gallery shows both art work and photographs. Below, the building is divided into an area for any art works. Every Sunday this place teaches about jewelry making for free to people who are interested. Tourists can buy souvenirs such as postcards from the sell zone.[2] Moreover, they have a puppet theater. The show only has one time to show per day and that starts at 2 p.m. except Wednesday.[5] The Artist’s House is an important learning center for students or people who are interested in art work.[6][7]
